Robert is a time traveler. In point of fact, he's the last time traveler. He managed to snag that impressive title because when he comes from has no future. This, as you can imagine, makes it much easier to be the last of any number of things. The current lack of future is due to the mess all his predecessors, the previous time travelers, made of things. It's Robert's job to repair the damage they did in the hopes that this will jump-start time . Fortunately he's assembled the most brilliant team in history to do the job. At his disposal are the best hackers, mechanics, and doctors who ever lived. He and his elite band have to do their best to un-steal ancient artifacts, un-kidnap people of importance, and un-sell advanced technologies while doing as little damage to the timelines as possible. The Last Time Traveler is a rather unique sci-fi romantic comedy. In fact, it's more like a comedy romance sci-fi if you put things in the correct order of importance. The humor is in some ways rather outlandish and draws on pop-culture a good bit. And all the romance is PG-13. If you're even the slightest bit curious read a few sample pages. By the third or forth page you'll probably know whether this is your cup of tea or not. The style stands-out, no question. So, take a couple of minutes and read a few pages. You might just love it.

I was intrigued by the title to this novel at first. Great cover as well. Then, as I started reading, the story line began to unfold. I love stories of the impact other times has on the characters. This one is no exception. Great plot and structure, in my opinion. There is a lot of dialogue. Sometimes more than I want to hear and I wished the characters would just shut up and get on with the action. When it was there, the action had me more focused on reading. This is a fun book and I particularly liked Robert the self-professed liar. He good-naturedly told lie after lie, laughed about it and admitted that he was doing it. This all seemed to me to give him a sort of roguish attitude that came across as lovable. Rob and his crew are running back and forth in time in order to undo some devastating mistakes made by a character we never get to meet. However, I still felt he was out there and had to be stopped from his mischief. This is light reading and fun if you can avoid wanting to slap the character upside the head and tell them to get on with the business at hand. Yeah, the girls too.

The Last Time Traveler Aaron J Ethridge Books Reviews

A truly different kind of sci fi.A comical tale set in a possible ? future that always and never was or will be. Funny characters, especially Rob N Hood the genius mastermind in charge of a timeship based in neverland where time does not exist. A MUST read for seekers of the unusual.
Couldn't get past the immature and sexist humor of a 6th grader writing. Not worth your time.
The Last Time Traveler was cute and funny but lacked depth of conflict, reading more like a series of poorly planned (well, knowing Rob only slightly poorly planned but incredibly poorly communicated) escapades by a group of eclectic characters than a traditional story arc.
That's not to say it wasn't a decent read. It definitely hit the spot for a quick morning read- which is my favorite indulgence. But it's not a book that leaves you pondering anything after you put it down, either.
It'll be interesting to see if the stakes are raised for Rob N Hood and his merry band of space rescuers as the series continues.
This was The Librarian, Indiana Jones and Hitchhikers Guide all rolled into one delightful, funny romp across time and space. It kept me entertained and amused - exactly what I was looking for.
This book was a fun and casual read for me. Author uses lots of humor. More emphasis is on the relationships between the characters, and lots of stuff about the guys chasing the ladies. Almost got a little pulpy at times and I prefer more of the sci-fi stuff, but still very fun. Not a lot of real drama as things usually get wrapped up a bit too easy, but that really isn't the point of this book. His book is really a coming of age story for Morgan, our main character. Lots of pop culture in there. Basically a fun read and I enjoyed it enough to buy the second one.
This is a read-for-fun story with a tinge of seriousness in the fantasy. I recommend it for those willing to suspend their belief that time travel can not happen. It features a quest to rectify mistakes made by other time travelers and avoid the impeding end of time. I enjoyed reading the book and the several humorous spots. The characters include a blue woman, a green woman,a winged doctor. a young earth man; and a mechanic who do the time travelers bidding on their quest to set things right, or as right as they can be. Give it a try..
I made it to the 42% mark, but I've had enough. Seems to be pretty childish and the story lacks any real direction. It appears to me to be one of those novels written by an author that says they can't stand the thought of outlining their story. They just want to start writing and see where the story takes them. Well, it shows with this one.

Oh, and one other thing, it got really tedious for the author to continually refer to the Rob as "the traveler" and Morgan as "the young man." C'mon. they each had names and it was ridiculous to keep referring to them half the time as the traveler and the young man. The author never referred to Cleo as "the green woman" or Azure as "the blue woman." It just got silly after awhile and it is one of the reasons I'm closing the "book" and putting back on the shelf.
